Left Tenants is composed of longtime comrades from the Philadelphia region. our music is primarily rooted in folk and rock, but we draw inspiration from a variety of styles.

So, to help put some shine on dusty labels, we like to term our sound “acid folk”. We play sets combining original songs and covers.

the covers are selections of songs across many artists and eras. Over time, we’ve given them our own spin, so that they fit alongside the originals cozily, like they’re part of the same family. as is the folk tradition.
